The production of flour and baking mixes is the focus of the Upper Austrian Company headquartered in Pregarten.
When it comes to flour, the product range includes various varieties of grain such as wheat and rye as well as barley and buckwheat. We also process corn and durum wheat or soya if the customer would like us to. Conventional as well as organic qualities are possible. The flour range from Pfahnl of course also contains special products such as wholemeal, wholegrain flour, organic flour, spelt flour, wheat germ meal, wheat bran, puff-pastry flour, waffle flour, pizza flour, dust flour, gingerbread flour.
Made to Measure Flour
The primary goal at Pfahnl is to have happy and satisfied customers. This is achieved through the highest quality, the best service and made to measure flour. Thanks to the varied and generous flour-silo facility, as well as the fully-automatic batch-mixing system with integrated micro-component portioning system, we can produce flour made to measure. This is important because the needs of traditional bakeries, industrial bakeries and dough producers are different when it comes to whether they need direct or indirect kneading dough, the kneading time of the dough and the temperatures in the different environments in which the doughs are being processed. The products are delivered to the customer in sacks, big bags or loose in silo vehicles.
The Pfahnl Mühle is Austria’s second largest private mill. Through expansion and renovation in 2007, it now counts among the most modern high-tech mills in the sector thanks to the high technological standards.
