Nothing is as important to us here at Pfahnl as the best raw materials and the highest quality – so that you can offer your customers the finest products. Taking the greatest care when it comes to supply and processing has always been an important trademark of our company. Only top-quality goods enter the production process, and the grain for our flours mainly comes from the regions around our two mills in Pregarten and Enzersdorf an der Fischa. Our baking ingredients are refined in Austria.

Less palm oil for a sustainable future.

Since 2014, Pfahnl has been RSPO-certified as per the Segregation (SG) and Mass Balance (MB) supply chain models. This means: for most of the products that can't be made without palm oil, we guarantee that the palm oil comes from sustainable production. We also offer products that are completely free from palm oil.

The origin of our eggs.

We primarily use certified origin eggs from ground or free-range production for our products – from both Austria and the EU. The agroVet inspection body guarantees and certifies complete traceability.

Production – Mill and baking ingredients

Our mills have been grinding reliably – for centuries.

The heart of our high-tech mills is the control room. From cleaning the grain, hulling, crushing, grinding and sieving through to the finished flour, all stages of the process are monitored online. This applies to both production locations.
Our production processes use the latest technology: in our rye mill, the rye is automatically sorted using the Sortex optical colour sorter. This guarantees the highest food safety.

We always observe high standards when manufacturing Pfahnl baking ingredients. All stages of the production process are strictly controlled so that we can guarantee constant quality. The latest technology combined with passion - that's not a contradiction at Pfahnl.

From a handshake through to completion

Large storage capacities: with the capacity to store 20,00 tonnes of grain and storage areas for 7,500 pallets, we can guarantee large amounts on demand.
With our fleet of 15 modern heavy goods vehicles, we maintain a constant quality throughout – from receipt of the grain through to supply to our customers. So we can easily meet individual customer requirements.
